Wonderful device – improves phone quality and records perfectly

I am delighted with this device which I purchased to record client service conversations. In my experience, what the service rep says will occur to resolve a problem is seldom what actually happens, peculiarly with regard to billing adjustments. Here in CA, as long as you notify the other party that they are being recorded, you may record the conversation. I find that just mentioning this, even when they decline to be recorded, improves the follow up to client service phone calls. To record and save files on a PC, just download a free copy of Audacity. The free Windows application, called “Sound Recorder”, is a finish DUD if you have more than 2 GB of RAM on your system.

Setup could not be simpler. The device connects to your phone at the point where the receiver connects. The signal is then split into two paths. The output of one goes to the input of your PC microphone input – normally a pink colored connector. The output of the other goes into your telephone receiver. Start up Audacity, make your call, export the .wav file (or other sound file) and voila, you have a digital record of both sides of your entire conversation. If you have your speakers turned on while the speech is recording, you will likewise listen the output on your speakers. Excellent Product

This is my introductory order to arrive before it is scheduled delivery.
I tried each type of software to record Telephone calls. They either had a hum or tinny sound or
didn’t record at all. This Company was fantastic. Item was airmailed to me and arrived in perfective condition.
Be conscious altho that this product will have to have a “line in” sound card feature to function properly.
I employed it through a little form PC input and it did not record at all.
I employed another PC with a line in Sound Card Feature at the back of the PC.
It worked utterly with no hum or buzz. Sound files on computer are clear on both sides of
the conversation. No more he say she say discrepancies.

Works perfective on a corporate digital phone system.

I have applied this a couple of times and have only had it 24 hours. The sound quality is fantastic. The recording time is only fixed by the available hard disk size in the PC. You will need your own recording software since there genuinely isn’t a good sound recorder in a Window’s environment. The native system “sound recorder” stops after 30 seconds or a minute.

I have employed “Audacity” as well as “Free Sound Recorder” with outstanding success. Both may record in an MP3 format.

The only issue was turning off the speakers while having the mic input always live. It took a few minutes to find the two settings. Checking one box and unchecking the other allows for the recorder always ready. I may monitor the sound level on the recording software so I don’t need to listen it through the speakers.

This enables me to without delay send a recording out VIA email without the hassle of transferring it from a digital recorder, to the computer and then to the email program.

The clarity is perfect. The hookup time is minimal, and the cord length is perfect.
