READ THIS – WARNING – READ THIS – WARNING

The only way to tell if you’re getting a VOICE competent jack is the “V” behind the model – as in PX-211V. I had to call Phonex to find that out only AFTER I purchased a hundred dollars worth of DATA ONLY (“D” designated) jacks that I now have to trade on eBay.
When I asked the woman at Phonex how clients are supposed to tell the divergence online (where we can’t see the item we’re buying) and she said, and I quote, “That’s a good question!”
Phonex- get it together! I find no “V” or “D” reference on the Amazon site.
Oh…these jacks worked very well with my DISH Network receiver…if you only need data, you’ll do well with these.

Excellent Product!

This is an very easy solution to those of us who need another telephone outlet. Very easy to install and it work great! Perfect in solving the problem of having to have my Dish satellite hooked to a phone line 24/7 when I do not have an outlet near my reciever! In fact, Dish recommeneded this queer make and model.

Bought these and and extension unit when we went to Dish. I did read all of the reviews original and made sure it was not connected to a power strip. The basi one synced up no problem the second one took a couple of times but they have been flawless since even after a power outage they came back on with no issues. saves me 10.00 a month or the hassle of running a phone line. The caller ID pass thru works as well using vonage
