As usual, the Dummies are better organized than most
By Amelie Frank
You gotta love a book that has 10 books in one. Not rather as physically compact as an e-book containing the same material, but it lives up to the For Dummies series’ motto “Making Everything Easier!” (I can’t believe they trademarked that phrase.) It’s helping me to be less intimidated by my little laptop. In fact, the darned book is thicker than my laptop. As engineering eclipses the established dissemination of information, and as everything we learn becomes obsolete within a few months, I’m thankful for books such as Laptops All-In-One for Dummies to aid those of use who can’t read tiny type to keep up with the pace of life.

Not much help
By Music Fanatic
Three main difficultnesses with this book: 1) Most of the data is frequent PC selective information and is not specific to laptops. If you have other computer books, most of this one will in all probability be redundant. 2) The info is very basic and for the most part talks when it comes to things you will know if you have done anything covered in a queer section. I consider myself to have less than intermediate cognition regarding computers, and I recognise most of this stuff. 3) The selective information that’s affiliated to Windows talks largely in regards to Vista, the operating system that will soon be as intimate as New Coke. If you use XP or 7, you’ll have to adjust what you may utilize to your system.
Overall, this is a very fat book with almost no utile information. Regardless of your expertise, your need for information, or your operating system, you may unquestionably find a book that will be more useful.
